The EU’s first crisis-response exercise for cyber and hybrid threats – dubbed ‘PACE17’ – was launched on 28 September.
Based on a scenario affecting both the EU and national governments, it will test the EU’s situational awareness, counter-cyber threat response, and the union’s ability to communicate quickly and in a co-ordinated way with its member states.
PACE17 closes on 4 October: the same day that NATO’s CMX17 exercise will begin.
