IED attack kills four soldiers in Thailand's Pattani

FOUR army rangers were killed and six others, including a civilian, were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED), emplaced on a roadside by suspected southern separatist militants, detonated in the Taping area of Sai Buri district in Thailand's Pattani province on 22 September, Al-Jazeera and the Bangkok Post reported. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
