The SEAHAWK LW mounting has been specifically designed by MSI-Defence to provide smaller patrol craft and security vessels with a stabilised remote control weapon system (RCWS) for both constabulary and self-defence applications. The system is designed to offer an easy upgrade path for end users with existing weapon support infrastructure.

Already offered with 20 mm and 25 mm cannon options, the SEAHAWK LW mounting is now available with the widely-sold 14.5 mm KPV heavy machine gun. MSI-Defence has disclosed that this version is now in series production, with 10 mountings being delivered to an undisclosed Southeast Asian customer for installation on 57 m patrol craft.

In a separate product development, MSI-Defence has now further developed the SEAHAWK LW mounting to accommodate the Orbital ATK Mk 44 30 mm dual-feed cannon alongside existing 20 mm and 25 mm options.
