DSEI 2017: BAE Systems displays augmented reality, wearable technology for armoured fighting vehicles

At the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2017 conference in London, BAE Systems has discussed its plans to integrate wearable technology that provides the crew with augmented reality into the CV90. The technology has reportedly gained attention in the Netherlands and Norway, as well as Australia for the Land 400 programme.

The CV90, which is currently in its fourth generation known as the Mark 3, is projected to carry the Iron Fist active protection system, anti-tank guided weapons (ATGW), and active damping. Iron Fist is due to enter trials in 2018, and the ATGW can be fitted according to customer specifications.
