Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has announced that it has “invested millions of dollars” in cyber security ventures in the Netherlands and Hungary; the latest in a series of investments by the state-owned Israeli group in information technology domains.
IAI announced on 28 June that it had made investments in Dutch firm Impedio BV and Hungary’s Cytrox. Both investments were made through the IAI cyber division that was established earlier this year.
Impedio is a developer of solutions for governments and businesses, including the Zerox system (which detects and stops exploitation attempts) and Mercury which protects cellular iOS and Android devices.
