Paris Air Show 2017: Bell Helicopters details Huey II delivery schedule for Africa

Bell Helicopters is close to delivering the last of eight Huey II helicopters to the Kenya Air Force (KAF), Arnie Easterly, the company's director for sales and marketing in Africa, told Jane's during the Paris Air Show.

"One is in Amsterdam right now on its way to Kenya [and should be delivered] this next week and the eighth will follow very quickly thereafter," he said.

"We're getting ready to deliver five to Uganda as well," he added. "They should arrive [in] the third quarter of this year."

He said that these 13 aircraft are all the Huey IIs that have been ordered to date by African countries, although future orders are expected as Bell actively promotes the type on the continent.
