Swedish defence and security company Saab has opened a new office in Paris, Jane's was told on 18 June.
The establishment of the office follows on from efforts to grow its presence in the country, following on from established offices in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands.
Magnus Lewis-Olsson, Saab President for Market Area Europe, said that the company was looking to "enter the French market more as a partner, than as a competitor to French companies. We try to do business by being a partner to French companies".
"We have an installed base here in France, with the Giraffe AMB radar system being used by the French military," Lewis-Olsson added.
