The newspaper of North Korea's ruling party, Rodong Sinmun , has claimed that the country's test-launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) will take place in the not too distant future, according to a 10 June report by South Korea's Yonhap News Agency.
"The series of recent strategic weapon tests show that we are not too far away from test-firing an intercontinental ballistic missile," the daily newspaper of the Workers' Party of Korea wrote in an editorial also published 10 June.
"The great success of test-firing an [ICBM], which we are sure to achieve, will mark a historic watershed moment in the failure of the United States' hostile policy against us," Yonhap quoted the editorial as stating.
