AT LEAST 19 people, including children, were killed when their minibus struck an improvised explosive device (IED) placed by unidentified militants near the village of Golweyn in Somalia's Shabeellaha Hoose region on 6 April, Al-Jazeera reported. No immediate claim of responsibility for the attack was made, but authorities blamed Harakat al-Shabaab al-Mujahideen for the attack.
