BAE Systems signs with VOP CZ for components

22 March 2017

BAE Systems has signed a contract with the Czech Republic's VOP CZ for the manufacture of components for the BvS10 all-terrain vehicle, the company announced on 20 March.

The contract entails VOP manufacturing components for BAE Systems Hägglunds that will then be exported to Sweden for integration onto BvS10 vehicles, which are currently being built for Austria. The Austrian contract covers 32 vehicles and was first awarded in 2016.

The agreement builds on a previous teaming agreement between BAE Systems and VOP that covers the bidding of BAE's Combat Vehicle (CV)90 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) for the replacement of the Czech Republic's BMP-2 IFV fleet.
