AirBoss Defense (Stand 01-A28), a leader in the design, manufacturing and supply of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) personal protective equipment (PPE), is presenting its wide range of products.
In addition to hand-and-footwear and gas masks, this range includes powered air purifying respirators (PAPRs), respirator filters, extreme cold weather mukluk (ECWM), rapid deployable shelters and mass casualty decontamination systems, as well as individual patient isolation and transportation systems (ISO-PODs).
AirBoss is also developing a radically different, fabric-rubber over moulded high-performance CBRN glove, which will be more comfortable with substantially lower heat burden.
The Canadian company has been at the forefront of manufacturing ISO-PODs to contain the threat of contamination from patients who may have been exposed to an infectious disease or toxic chemicals. For more than 10 years, its engineers have worked with hospitals, emergency medical services units and first responders to ensure its ISO-PODs have the technology and safety features necessary to both care for a patient and assure carer safety.
Its emergency decontamination systems incorporate all the equipment required to perform personnel decontamination, including the infrastructure, multiple water supply options, complete power generation and consumables dedicated to ambulatory and non-ambulatory casualties.
