Logos Technologies' Redkite wide-area sensor flew aboard a Boeing Integrator Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) in early February. The test marked the first time the wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) sensor has been carried in the internal payload bay of a small tactical UAS.
The three-hour demonstration flight in Boardman, Oregon, validated that the Redkite and the Integrator could successfully launch from a catapult and conduct an operation, John Marion, president of Logos Technologies, told Jane's on 17 February.
