Irish vehicle driveline specialist Timoney is showcasing its considerable expertise in armoured vehicle systems engineering and mobility, along with its key production partner, Texelis.
The company (Hall 6, Stand G303) has five decades of experience designing independent suspension systems, drivelines and axles that maximise vehicle capability and mobility.
Timoney has developed driveline solutions for 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 vehicles. The systems include suspension, axles, transfer cases, steering and chassis. A modular approach and common architecture allow the company to rapidly develop and put into production its solutions, accompanied by testing and validation.
The company works closely with complementary system providers that supply powerpacks, controlled suspension, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, wheel assemblies and other automotive systems. Timoney integrates these systems into a fully engineered solution.
In addition to driveline solutions, Timoney’s technical and engineering services can provide support to broader programmes, including multibodied dynamic analysis, structural analysis, amphibious operation modelling and vehicle vibration evaluation. In addition to its defence work, it is active in the fields of construction, firefighting, mining and special-purpose vehicles.
