GNLA militants threaten attacks in India's Meghalaya

IN A STATEMENT released on 10 March, the Garo National Liberation Army (GNLA) threatened to carry out improvised explosive device (IED) attacks in all five districts of Garo Hills in India's Meghalaya state if security forces were not withdrawn from the area and operations against the group did not cease, The Assam Tribune reported.
