Military air strike kills five Islamic State militants in Iraq's Diyala

FIVE Islamic State militants - including a local commander, allegedly involved in recruiting suicide bombers - were killed during a military air strike targeting the hideout near the village of Sensel, northeast of the city of Baqubah, in Iraq's Diyala province on 12 September, NINA reported. The Islamic State was formerly known as the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and was renamed on 29 June.
