The US Navy EP-3 is clearly visible, parked on hardstanding towards the northwestern corner of the airfield. If Chinese technicians wanted to conduct a thorough examination of the aircraft without openly displaying their actions, they might have wanted to tow it to a hangar, but this airfield seems largely bereft of such facilities.
